@Snip haha, yeah, as you noticed I've been rocking D2GL! I also use PlugY to inject D2FPS. The game runs buttery smooth in widescreen and is simply gorgeous. 1.09 is also my favorite patch by far. ^_^ Could you share how you made the update to display runes in orange? That looks sexy! 🤩

@fearedbliss I like your musts and pretty much concur with all points! I am also fully AGAINST Windows 11 and will remain on Windows 10 for gaming indefinitely. And I don't even have a Steam account myself, so I also hope they release this as a complete DRM free game on either their own...

Yooo!!!! This is sick. Just drop cnc-ddraw in your install folder and it boots right up (on Windows 10 64-bit). Movement speed feels crazy fast for a level 1 lol. Guess they didn't want us wasting too much time getting places. I am going to go slay some zombies now and see how far I can go...

The game doesn't launch post-install, but I wonder if cnc-ddraw will give it new life? stay tuned.
