That I just ding'd level 98 on my MF Sorceress on v1.09. This, I feel, is news is because I literally did nothing but run Pindleskin on her since she ding'd 97, lmao. Sooo, while I don't know exactly how many runs that was, suffice to say it was a LOT. 🙈 😂

And I've thought about switching over to Baal runs, but...

Yeah, overall it's a slower grind leveling up in Classic vs LoD. Especially when compared to 1.10. Leveling to 99 in 1.10 compared to 1.09 is wild. It takes a LOT longer in 1.10. Again, another reason 1.09 is goated ;)

ya ww in cows to 90 was the meda back then then 1.10 came out... people where pissed...but then uber leveling was found for a bit...
 
I remember doing something similar a while back (going from 95 to 97 only from Mephisto).

We can probably estimate how many runs you did, if we know how much XP Pindle gives at clvl 97 (assuming you were on P1). We'd also have to account that you probably kill some of his minions everytime.

Still no GF? How many WF you got so far? We seem to have opposite luck on those items haha. What's your MF like?

I haven't played D2 in a while, but I am currently sitting at 4 GF / 0 WF.

That's a good point, I forgot to mention that I did those runs on P1, and always killed the minions around him. As a Meteorb Sorc it's difficult to single him out, so I always spam static field a few times, and then drop a nice juicy meteor on him. If there are any survivors after that, my Act V Merc will typically finish everyone off quickly, but not without the added bonus +100% MF on his kills ^^. And yeah bro, not even one GF yet, but I have 3 WF's, lmao. That's RNG for ya! Currently I am 625% MF. I actually had over 1000% MF at one point, but the runs were very slow. Now I have decent FCR & FRW, and it's way more enjoyable. Also it was apparent that the drop rate wasn't feeling any better. Diminishing returns definitely takes a toll.

Word - I'll probably go for a 1.07 GF eventually, but the 1.09 GF is actually a sharper blade with more raw damage. :cool:
