Hello all,
I'm pleased to announce the release of Singling 2026-08-17-0130. I've been thinking about my recent upgrade to 1.06b, and I've decided that it's best to revert back to 1.05b. Given that 1.06b doesn't include anything really necessary for the Single Player community, includes the anti-dupe logic (that requires more for me to do), and most importantly, the increased chances of an instability due to my players command implementation (which works with no issues on 1.05b and all other Singling supported versions), I've decided to bring Singling support back to 1.05b. Additionally, I've also implemented experimental support for 1.03, which was the version usually printed on the majority of the Battle Chest CDs at the time. I'm releasing it as experimental since my players command also required some "interesting" measures to get working and I don't have enough play testing to say it's 100% stable. What I can say is that it hasn't crashed for me on Linux and in my Windows VM. If you do play 1.03 and experience crashes, please let me know. I'll be looking to improve 1.03 support over time if necessary. You can download Cactus from the usual locations.
