so about me i play alot of diablo 2. mindcraft,astroneer, and nms. been playing diablo 2 off and on for years and a few years a go i started a signal player mostly played 1.13 did enough lk runs for an infinity... then i came a cross a youtuber jimsfriend and he had a 1.00 guide and got me thinking so i started 1.00. then led me to other patches and it snowballed from there.

my plan is to collect every item in all the patches, take pics, and make a list of all of them as alot of info is hard to find and move them all to probably 1.13. i have 2 85 barbs in 1.00 trying to get to atlest 87 for +2 skill ammys. got bunch of stuff in 1.07 thats the fun patch. and planing to go for the 2+ skill bk ring from andy. i wanted to go for beta cta but then i need ohm and well i got dam lucky and found 2 ohm in 1.09...so cat and Bramble i guess i need sur still.

playing 1.41 atm and sander boots is level 7...ya wonder what els is good. assin lvl 25 norm and socer nm lvl 37 so far. slow grind. need some p dimonds,4soc armors, seems like hydra is the way to do for now...

for 1.00 im gambling every item too almost done with that and need to find items that cant be gambled...

1.07 i was last rack running and resetting maps in halls. was looking for mons to make spirits for the andy soccer for bk ring. looks like its all fireball. i dont have any fire gs thow.

Welcome @thrasher_565! I enjoyed reading about your goals and progression in the different patches. I suppose Diablo 2 is like Baskin Robbins with all the unique flavors, lol. Also I watch jimsfriend's streams on YouTube too, so it's cool to meet another person that enjoys his content. Anyways I hope to see you around, and as @fearedbliss said, post pics!

ya i stop doing something then forget what i was doing and was moving pcs alot so lost the documents somewhere... and have to go read about in all over again. but do want to document what i can, its a big project but maybe we can others to help too. i want to do skills too but items like sets, unique, and some rune words and some crafts like wand, bow and so on.

i started playing 1.00 and was like hmm what are all the items and well it was difficult to find...why should you have to use Wayback Machine to look up diablo 2 info. i no people are moving on. only play 1.14 and d2r but i mean old stuff is fun too. after finding the infinite MF ritual people got a respark to play. i no there people been playing for years like 15+ and may be burned out. but some have crazy plans like collecting evrey rune word in the game. like how many people no there's 3 different Bartuc's Cut-Throat. i no i didn't. maybe there a 4th with 1.41?

anyway what the scoop on like bugs and glitches here? i no there bugs with like atma and some way to get like a 4skill barb ammy do to transferring from patch to patch.

ya he has some plans and hes sticking too them even thow might get boring watch same thing over and over but have useful info. i think he should document it more and make videos about it but maybe he did alot of that and moving on. he gets lucky too with his cocoon touch sim 25k shield...now just need a 25k belt and it be all end all seeds...i can dream right.

we were theroy crafting 1.08 afk infinite MF ritual and he wanted a way to collect less gear. need like 105 dr and probably some life gen to afk we think. i gave him some ideas. also came up with the rising sun and fire azorb and there fire pits in the pod. i dint have my barb setup to test it so i don't no if it work.

few others on YouTube but really not that much these days. was thinking of doing it myself but i dont no about talking to a camera... but i need to just start i guess.

I would recommend checking out The Chaos Sanctuary via Wayback Machine (I know you mentioned you shouldn't need to check it there but most of the info is documented there directly from what Blizzard gave us from 25 years ago). The Chaos Sanctuary was what "Arreat Summit" was called back when Lord of Destruction didn't exist. I'm actually in the process of trying to download this whole thing and possibly self host it so we have a modern mirror that isn't going through wayback machine. ya that's were i got most the info from but it was hard because you don't no what page is what patch is the problem. and they make edit's in the info too. some pages are missing too or link to a newer patch so it has problems. its just unstable. nice to have a list of, this is all 1.00 items, this is all 1.02 items and so on.

another question can i post things from other forms like jsp? or try to keep it to a minim. i don't what to just copy there stuff but some stuff is common like list of 1.07 rune words.

oh other info about me. i like computers and i build them, mod them and help of ltt forums. i like retor games console like nes snes so on i own most of them and like moding the shell of them. i like orange (an expensive color...)

i have dyslexia too and i have a hard time remembering things and details so if i get something wrong plz correct it i mean well. need a sticky note for the sticky note... dont have much grammar and i edit post alot do to these problems.

love music have it on just about 24/7 mostly techno but love rock too or anything with a faster beat. im age 37 give and idea what games ive played all the old and gold. started with windows 95 first game duke nukem 3d. before then was nes and snes. got games from the pwn shops. me and my dad been build and playing pc that are thing together. he getting old thow 60 and slower reaction tion and all that. still insist to build a fast pc and play read alert on it...but hese happy.

i love paintball but cant play it and spent way to much money on it. watching f1 with dad too. like some movies mostly older ones atm in to starwars and probably startrek.

mindcraft im playing in 1.09 and i have a had picked seed were i got 5 spwaner close to each other and trying to max out mob cap for xp farm and i have been digging a 200x 200 block area off and on. i have a few skyblock think 1.21 with a few mods.

astorneer waiting on the new patch. made an auto craftier for each item.

nms hope on updates here and there get board or frustrated. love hate kinda game.

was looking at planet craftier might try that. there stationeers but seems too complex for me. hopping stiched to come out as i love little big planet. ps3 controller battery died... sad face...

i remember first seen diablo 2, when to friends house and he showed me his level 99 zon with windforce think 2 sojs, skills armor, Valkyrie Wing, most have been 1,08 doing cows. anyway i bought it off of him used for $50 and it was new $50 at walmart witch the chest...haha and there it all started. before that i did play diablo 1 for a bit. miss the speed hack and find items on the ground.

oh ya i played online for most of it think 1.12 posably 1.13 but don't remember. use to collect 1.08 items.

there this thing suck in my head. i was play some version were the light saber had vary few stats on it same with tals orb some guy game to me well i was kill stuff on act 5. it hunts me to this day. was it a beta? i dont no. could just be my mind...

got to level 97 zeal play never been to 99 yet

what is the best level 1 merc gear (i like colecting twinker gear) love to hear what you come up with. you can pick for any pacth.

ya same. think first family pc was $3000 at the time. had a voodoo 2 witch some games didn't play...came home from school and played unreal tournament. my dad got a 4gb hdd so i got 2 games to install my dad 2 games and rest was mp3 between me and sister. had to uninstall a game if you wanted something els. i got my own pc later on for $800 p4 witch then i played diablo 2.

loved playing quake 2 online with grampling hooks miss thows days.

ya think asmingold mom dint let him play diablo too.

dont really no why i love diablo 2 so much. i sucked at pk and was playing lld for a bit. was not good at traids. i played diablo 3 was good...but then the game changed. speed to the end and get loot. only 4 players and i ran out of stash space and you spam skills like wow. and i was stuck on gear as it rarely droped... i still use f1 f2 for skills lol...ya im laiyed back.

@thrasher_565 I mean once I knew I needed D2 in my life there was no convincing me that I couldn't have it, lmao. My mom eventually conceded and I even got her playing it, lol. This is my busy season for work so I don't have as much free time to play D2 until Christmas, but I still sneak a few minutes here and there when I can to run Pindle (human bot project style xD) with my Meteorb Sorc or Baal runs with my Pole Baba. Basically I'm doing a 1.09 Holy Grail and there are only a handful of items that I'm still seeking such as what's listed here: [1.09] Manny's Wish List

That's cool that you still remember your PC's and specs from that era. I also remember those little details like my PIII Dell with a 550 Mhz processor and my Diamond Viper V770 (always thought it had a bad ass name for a GPU, lol).
