Hello all,
I'm happy to announce Cactus Drafter 2026-10-19-0000 is now available! For this update, I incorporated Path of Exile's Hardcore -> Softcore Rollover concept into the Cactus Drafter vocabulary. Something similar to this was being expressed with @Manny's post here. Automatically rolling the Hardcore option will always only select "Permanent" death since that is the traditional and normal definition for this in D2. However, if the user will be using an external tool to reincarnate their character and they are ok with this, they can manually select the "Rollover" option in the Death Type column. This will automatically select Hardcore as the mode and the drafter code will have a _ROLL extension. A permanent death extension is _PERM. Softcore characters don't have nor need this concept so there is no death type suffix in the SC_ situation.
I've also done some more cleanups and improvements with the layout and implemented a complete "Key" section that displays all of the definitions for all of the Cactus Drafter column variations. The new drafter is included in the Cactus Bundle and also hosted by The Moving Caravan and my server.
Have fun,
Jonathan
