Hello folks,

I've decided to start a completely fresh stash/character set and have wiped all of my other characters. I've also wiped all of my older forum posts regarding my previous characters. I've come up with a lot of good names over the years but all of those characters actually no longer exist and I want to re-use all of those names again but in the modern era. To avoid confusion and reduce spam, I've decided to wipe all of my old character related posts. This is hopefully a new beginning and a more stable beginning with these new characters. For this current character and the next wave of characters, I most likely will stick to a C_NOEX configuration, so they will all be untwinked, will not share any gear with any characters, and will only use their personal stash, the way the Blizzard North Gods intended it to be. After many experiments, it seems that my brain tends to like not twinking characters since even though twinking is fun, and it gives a lot of purpose and re-use to lower level gear (or other gear) that is discovered along the way (especially after your character is at a higher level) by giving it to another character, ultimately the dopamine I get when the items are discovered by the character themselves is much greater and it's a much more satisfying experience to start with absolutely nothing, and progressively improve the character's gear set along their own journey without any external injections. Additionally, since I'm only using their own personal stash and not muling or anything like that, I can pretty much more easily decide to either keep an item in the stash or remove it immediately without getting too attached to the item. Of course this means there may be some times when I would find some amazing GG item (like a Grandfather potentially) on a Sorceress and that would mean I can't mule it or give it a barb, but I'm ok with that. I would have a greater dopamine hit finding a Grandfather on a Barbarian, then finding it on a Sorceress and then giving it to the Barbarian. Another interesting thing with this is that finding an awesome powerful item on a class that it wasn't really designed for may actually make you decide to change your build or your play style to accommodate that class for that item. For example, if you were to find a Grandfather on a Sorceress, it may be interesting to go in a Battlemage direction and see how a Sorceress with high Str/Dex and IAS would behave. It definitely would make your sorceress very unique since almost nobody is doing a GF Sorc.

With that said, the new Rilakkuma is currently level 15 and has completed A1 normal. Things are going well with him and I'm excited for his future. This is just the beginning. Rilakkuma will once again be a Thorns Paladin, but I don't think I will go Sanctuary this time. I'll need to think about it. I do believe I will have a second aura that I will use in situations where maybe I'm dealing with ranged monsters that aren't affected by Thorns, but not sure yet. I'll see what I like conceptually. On a positive note, I found a pair of Hotspurs from Blood Raven so that was awesome to see and a nice low level item that I'll definitely be using for a while. I also found a lot of rares during this Act 1 run, so that was interesting to see.
