[1.05b] Baroness Emu (Sorceress)

So, I’ve just finished Normal with my new 1.05b Sorceress, Emu. This is her current gear. She is slowly getting more and more powerful, I can see her potential, but she is severely Mana deprived. We all know original Diablo II is unforgiving about Mana, which is funny because Diablo 1 actually sells Mana Pots in stores via Adria. Although Diablo II pre 1.10, and definitely pre 1.07 is heavily balanced around Resource Management. 1.10 allowed resources to last a lot longer and be easier to acquire. Although it isn’t the most fun to be mana deprived, patiently finding the appropriate techniques and combinations to overcome this limitation is part of the fun. Unfortunately the quest drop wasn’t that useful and since I’m going untwinked for all characters for this new 2023.1 run, I might as well vendor it. I might keep it in her mule maybe as a trophy, I’m not sure. I haven’t made her any mules yet.

Currently level 33, about half way done with Act 1 NM. Recent finds and other stuff.

Level 35 atm and pushed to A1 Hell. I’m going to be staying in Normal/NM until I get stronger and can be more mana efficient / dmg effective. Some drops and interesting shop items.

Did a bunch of Normal CS runs today and pushed myself to 40. Warmth is now maxed. I started pumping FO again, currently around lvl 5-6.

The deed has been done. Hell Diablo has been defeated. Emu finished it at level 40 ;D. You can also watch her fight here.
