Cactus has been successfully tested to work on Wine (w/ Wine Mono) well enough that I'm now providing official support for it and it will be my primary way of running Cactus. Windows 7 and Windows 10 will continue to be supported and they will remain the reference platforms in addition to Wine. This means that any platform that supports Wine (FreeBSD, Linux, Etc) should be able to run Cactus and Diablo II. None of the mods in the Ports Collection have been tested however, and some may not work. However, all versions of Diablo II between 1.00 - 1.13d seem to work perfectly fine with Cactus, cnc-ddraw, and OpenAL/DSOAL. 1.14 is not working which I'm not surprised. I'll see if I can work with upstream to improve their cnc-ddraw 1.14 proxy dll support and hopefully we can get 1.14 working through Wine as well.
