Hey, I'm an relatively old Diablo 1 player (back from Tristr.am times) and I love that game. I also love the first patches of Diablo 2 so I guess I'm in the right place, thanks to
Xenoline from Reddit who answered my question and invited me here. In any case I would like to play with all of you if time allows, either D1 or D2 (old patches) will do.

This is a very well made forum and I love it, keep the good work :)

My Diablo 1 related website is: www.diablo1996.com but is still work in progress. I also made a small introduction in this website about the live Diablo 1 community if someone is interested the full information can be found here.

In any case keep slashing and keep hacking.

Hey @D1_Constantine, welcome to the forum. Glad to have you hear.

Thanks for sharing your website, I took a quick look at it (will dive into more in depth when I get a chance) and I'm happy you are helping with preserving D1 information.

I saw that you wrote you were overwhelmed with all the projects. My word of advice as someone who has been preserving original Diablo 2 for 11 years now (started as Bliss Version Switched in 2013 and has now evolved into Cactus and it's ecosystem) is that you need to pace yourself. I also work on some other projects I'm passionate about as well, and of course normal life stuff as well, family, other interests, etc. Everything is possible in a way, but just need to pace yourself and prioritize the important things first. It's amazing what you can do when you are disciplined, consistent, and passionate about something you deeply care about. It's something nobody can take away from you, and little by little, with time, it will be accomplished.

Regarding D1, Devilution/X, I am hosting a permanent copy of all of the Diablo (+ HF) and Diablo II original patches, which can be found here:

Thanks man, I'm not giving up on the website but the DevX team are thinking of creating their own website with integrated leaderboards. Basically the game client will scan your character, stats, items, etc. and upload them to that website. I really wanted to combine websites with them or something similar. We'll see what will happen tho, I just have to wait a little longer.

Welcome to the forum, @D1_Constantine! I'm glad you found us (shout out to Xenoline). You have come to the right place if you love Diablo and the early patches of Diablo 2. We are a small group, but very passionate.

Thank you also for the complement about the forum. It's a labor of love from some devoted fans. @fearedbliss and I will continue to build and improve upon the great foundation he started back in late 2021. I am planning to add more historical aspects and a wiki-like component to the forum in the coming year, so be sure stick around to see the evolution. I'm also going to be taking a look at your site momentarily ~ thank you for sharing it. Feel free to add the URL to your signature if you'd like to promote it while you're here.

I'd definitely love to coordinate some multiplayer for Diablo and Diablo 2 soon. Maybe we can all find some time during the upcoming holiday season.

Going to read your other post now. Have a great weekend. :)
