Oh crud, I just realized we're talking about Classic in here lol. I don't think ATMA will load 1.05b characters, but then again I've never tried!

There may be more legitimate ways of looking up your map seed in LoD, but I use ATMA for muling and it has a character info pane that shows you the seed. Just an FYI!

I would assume not, but have you tried it? It's worth a shot if it's something you really want to happen. Just back up all your characters first, and then do some tests to see what the mod does after you load those character files. :)
