That I just ding'd level 98 on my MF Sorceress on v1.09. This, I feel, is news is because I literally did nothing but run Pindleskin on her since she ding'd 97, lmao. Sooo, while I don't know exactly how many runs that was, suffice to say it was a LOT. 🙈 😂 You either die a hero, or you live...

@neondrake just in case that wasn't obvious. :p:LOL:

Welcome, @neondrake. Awesome intro post! It's always nice to meet other people who have been playing for 20+ years. It's good to know we're not alone, lmao. Would love to hear your thoughts on v1.00 and/or any other legacy patches you play. Happy time travels mate, and thanks for joining our...

@thrasher_565 lol bro those screenshots are huge so I changed them to attachments FYI. :) Anyways, yeah, there were a lot of changes to items over D2's life! Your post kind of reminds me of my thread here: 1.08 Unique Items (Drop Thread & Info) xD GL HF

@kereby0 All good! That's the beauty of offline/single-player, the game is always going to be there for you, and you can pick it up back up when it's convenient. Good luck with your exams!

@fearedbliss I very much concur! I have only ever been interested to play the original versions of Diablo II myself, and found Cactus back in 2022 after being disappointed with the game I had just purchased/downloaded from BNET. Thankfully your awesome tools helped me get back to the game as I...

I am so stoked! Anya has just come through in a big way! 😁

@RichardPfister Perhaps I'm missing something, but why bother to develop a mod in D2R to play "True Classic" when you can just play the real thing, and it's not a mod? I think if people want to play D2R they will, but if they want Classic, there are better ways to get that experience (i.e...

PS... :rolleyes::rolleyes: :p

bro I made us a thread btw lol: [1.09d] The Symphonia of Maestro feat. Michael Jackson [Act 3 Norm | TCP/IP | Necro & Druid]

@Web79 and I continue to link up for great times on LAN! This thread will help us chronicle the journey. :)

lmaooooo bro I'm just seeing this now. Def good times w/ my guy Weby79 <3

@thrasher_565 Yeah, I can't say I'm surprised tbh. I was hype for a day when I saw the original announcement, but the more I thought about it I was like... meh (no shade tho, xD). For me, I've come to realize that my rekindled, and ever expanding love of Diablo II is heavily reliant upon two...

Nice job bro! I like that you provided links to the purchase pages. That way newcomers still have a legal/ethical way of getting the necessary game files and keys. :) ¡Viva Diablo!

That's what I was hoping for!! Arigato ;)

Oh, thanks for clarifying @fearedbliss :) But yeah I was referring to the speed of Whirlwind: Because I know in LoD they changed it so that it's based on Weapon speed so it's sloowww 🐢 I want to make a 1.09 Lance Barb but only if it's not going to be based on Weapon Speed!

So just to confirm, Whirlwind in Classic v 1.09 works exactly the same way as it does in the earlier pre LOD patches, right? For example, v 1.06?

@kereby0 Wow, this is nice! You are speaking my language with this thread. Succulent is one of my favorites :) Your build sounds nice. I don't think I'd change a thing. Holy Shock as a way to deal with physical immunes sounds interesting. Let us know how that goes. And I'm sure you already know...

@kereby0 What up big Kerb?! Lol, that's what I'm gonna call you. Welcome to the forum, amigo. This statement resonates with me quite a bit. When I returned to Diablo 2 in 2022, this was one of my driving desires. Getting engrossed in a classic PC game where I can see a ROI for my time, and be...
