Hello all, I'm pleased to announce Cactus 5.5.0. Patch notes below. You can continue to download Cactus from the usual locations.
With this release I'm completely done bringing over all of the mods that I could bring over from Windows to Linux! All but 4 were able to be perfectly brought over...
I guess both lol. Lances have the best distance and damage with the lowest amount of str requirement. You could use a great maul for awesome damage as well + increased damage against undead, but the range is a bit shorter I think and it has way higher str requirement.
Succulent is proprietary. So yea no .txt files. And yea reverse engineering another person’s mod for this purpose is frowned upon in the modding community.
Yea mercs are useless and you basically can completely ignore them. As for gems, they are also not as useful in classic. Mostly just diamonds for a 3os shield and having some nice solid all res. Other than that if you are playing HC than rubies can help with HP, and sapphires for MP. So very...

I have a 4K display so I always need to adjust the window size or it will be too small. You'll need to edit your Common/Core/ddraw.ini file and adjust as follows:
That will make the game start in window mode by default at a 1024x768 resolution. You may need to tweak it until you find a...
