Welcome to the forum @Web79! Most people are just time traveling and playing in Single Player, but if anyone does MP, you most likely won't need any tools and will just do normal TCP/IP, Port Forwarding, Firewall stuff.

That’s true it could be another version of Classic, normally I recommend 1.05b for the same reason you mentioned before about 1.06. So 1.05b would be the latest stable version of the game, and Singling only supports that and 1.00 for classic versions.

No I mean the version you mentioned should be "1.05b then move to 1.07". You are fine about the other stuff regarding time traveling items forward in a specific way rather than moving an item from 1.00 directly to 1.10 for example.
