Great to see you guys are doing this, I'll have a think about what the best character to make for hardcore mode on 300ping would be. Maybe a leap barb so you guys can kill everything on /players 128 (or whatever the max was), and I can just merely survive

Awesome, @Ülthör!

We would love to have you join us for some Hardcore. ;)

When @Erayz and I linked up last time we cleared CS on players 64 (the max), and it was a blast. He basically face tanked everything with his GF wielding barb, and I just hung back w/ my WF Zon. :D

Why 300 ping? A leap barb could be fun. We should synergize our builds. I'll be thinking about it. :geek:

Much obliged Manny, I didn't mean to invite myself, but when I find the time to level in all these patches I'm sure I'll be trying to join in a bit here

I won't worry about trying to start fresh with you all unless it's just for that one session, I'm in europe so it'll be the occasional late night

I'm definitely going for the indestructable support role if we play HC, could even use a lower res wand perhaps, for those pesky champion mobs.
So thats auradin or leap exclusively for me. Actually, any paladin would be fine if we load in a BO buff.

Leap barb will enter any unsafe TP and lock down entire rooms, meaning all thats left to do is stack damage and synergise to get maximum DPS with buffs, which is probably the most interesting thing to theory craft too, with auradin we'll need a main tank for sure. I just checked in game and leap does indeed work before 1.10+, which was when people actually started using it - very surprised it works in classic to be honest.

Maybe I could make a necro, even though they are very underpowered in 1.09. I think I could provide good support with curses, and eventually a merc with holy freeze to slow everything down.

Also, do you guys mind if I play this character solo sometimes, and/or if I twink him a bit? I kind of want this character to be part of my ongoing D2 project haha. Otherwise it's ok, I'll play it just with you guys, and make another one for when I play alone :)

@Ülthör

No worries at all! My goal with this thread was that people would find us and want to join! I like your idea for a tanky auradin and/or leap barb. And that's cool that you're in Europe. We will have a nice varied group from all parts of the world. :D

@Erayz

No problem. I'd also like to be able to play offline sometimes and twink a little. ;)

I am thinking to roll a Trapsin for some nice and safe ranged DPS. ^_^
