Ok, I opened the ports on my router and added a new rule to allow connections on those ports through TCP protocol on my firewall. Now I need to know if it works lol

@Erayz
Haha, nice! I've decided I'm going to pick up a new modem this afternoon that will let me do the same. Tired of depending on my ISP's cx service.
Use this link to see if your ports are open:
https://canyouseeme.org/
And you can PM me your public IP and I can try to connect

@Manny 4000 might be enough for LAN. Give it a try

. I think 6112 may be needed for open battle.net but i haven't been on there in a very long time.
Also Manny is right about the port checker, if you host a LAN game and see if 4000 is visible then you are good.

@Manny Haha, I have no time ATM, but have fun without me....... for now

.
Did it end up working with just Port 4000 TCP?

Hahaha. No worries man. Erayz hosted yesterday, and I'm not quite sure if he *only* used TCP 4000.
BUT...I picked up a Motorola MG7700 from Best Buy, and opened *only* port 4000 TCP, and it works! I'm able to join my own game using my public IP, and canyouseeme.org shows it open as well.
@Erayz that was a lot of fun yesterday. Looking forward to running some Hardcore with you next time.

@Manny Nice, that's encouraging. The less open ports the better. It's been a while since I've hosted but last time I hosted with you it was just Port 4000 TCP IIRC since I don't have port 6112 in my router config, just 4000.
