A Paladin is always great choice. I was thinking a good ole fashioned Sword & Board WW Barb. I crafted my first Cruel CB the other night (no of swiftness yet). We'll be melee hermanos, with limited AOE, but with shouts & your aura, our damage output will be plenty, and we'll be tanky too. I would say should be able to smash chaos and close quarters a5 areas pretty good. For cows I can swap in my Zon as that's her happy place lol.

I mean for the MP run, I was thinking we would start from scratch without bringing any of our personal SP chars. So it's just an exclusive MP "Cactus" entry? I'm planning on keeping all of my SP stuff isolated from this.

Ohhh i got you now bro. A super fresh instance with no hand me downs or help from my geared toons. I actually really like that idea. Hmmmm. In that case I want to do something completely different. And we will need more AOE than a barb can provide. I’ve always been curious about elemental druids. We could have oak sage for the HP and you will tank shit while i rain down fire and brimstone lol. Or perhaps one of those windy druids. Hmmmm. Since we are going super fresh I will avoid a cookie cutter build for ultimate fun, and a Paladin/Barb we would be competing for the same gear which is no good. Another thought is a Necro. What do you think between those two classes?

Yup, exactly a completely fresh start for MP. That we can still keep working on our SP in an isolated fashion.

I also thought the same thing if it was Paly and Barb (regarding overlapping equipment). If you make a druid I'm fine making a Necro. I played a Necro I think last year on 1.05b so it's pretty godly over there, in 1.09b it's not as strong given the IM/BG nerf, but it could still help. I could just make a zon or paly still.

I think it's better if you pick a character first and let me know what build you want and I'll pick something else.

Hmm. I’m good with Paladin or Barb if you don’t mind playing Zon. She’s the undisputed queen of the patch and I could show you my hybrid java/bow build which wrecks. Her weakness are resists and life pool but her damage is insane, and I can support with some meat shielding and aura or shouts. I’m kinda Zon’d out from SP else i’d do it myself. With this combo we will do very well. As fun as something like Druid/Necro would be, Hell would be hard AF since we’re going untwinked. LMK bro i’m open to anything though besides Zon or Sorc lol

@Erayz Some MP would be sweet! I'm actually doing some crafting right now. Are you available to play? :D

Also, what time zone are you in? And are you able to host? If not I will give my ISP a quick call to open the ports back up. I just noticed they are closed again for whatever reason. I hate not being able to configure it myself but I'm on one of those ISPs that are fascist :lol: .

Usually on the weekends I tend to play in the mornings and/or early afternoon. Evenings I typically want to be out. But I can be flexible to game with my D2 bros

@Manny

I'm in East coast Canada. I'm available to play most weekends.

I'll have to check if I am able to host, do I just need to open ports 6112-6119, like in Diablo 1?
