And finally, my 40% ED ruby jewel which has been waiting for a worthy weapon since January, has found it's permanent resting place... xD

Damage is representative of being level 88 with approx 375 DEX after gear. The beauty of this beast is that my DEX will continue to rise as will it's maximum damage with every level-up!

@galaxyhaxz Just wanted to make sure you saw this. Wouldn't have been possible without you, since I don't have a million hours to spend on 1.08 farming one, lol.

Hahaha. Yes, both drops were on 1.09b final update (1.09f sounds cool). It's been a crazy couple days. I wasn't even trying to farm anything there either -- it was literally just a test run on Players 8 Hell Cows with the new hotness and then BOOM. I suppose I could have just strolled by it. I don't run loot filters or any of that fancy shit. Anyways, this BER is yours! Not duping it either, and I am a man of my word. My conscience will be clear that I gifted my brother a clean & undefiled BER which will live happily forever in an 08~09 GF. Of course you'll need the damn sword, and good luck with that one, lol.

Just remember me when you find a 3 socket Berserker Axe...

Lol, this 1.08 valor? I think it's better to start a new drop thread for 1.09b final edition so that people don't get confused and think vanilla 1.09b drops this.

Besides that, I'm jealous. This is the stuff that makes me wanna spin up 1.08 directly again even though it has broken MF. I did enjoy most of my 1.08 sorc adventure though. Magic Resistance being 75% is rough though but sorc is still pretty good. 1.07 is also another option but we'll see, I still like the completeness of 1.08 and the possibility for WF actually dropping, let alone deadly crafts. Although MF only affected white mobs in classic and I don't believe boss running was a thing in prelod (at least not as much as they are ran now.. I need to do some boss run experiments on prelod and see how their drop patterns behave). But because of that type of system, 1.07 and 1.08 not having working MF just makes those versions feel more like original prelod versions in terms of drops..That technically makes 1.08 the closest to prelod but with most of the benefits of lod.. at least that's how I feel about it atm.

Although since there are not really specific specialized zones in prelod (I guess people would mostly just default to CS if anything but you can still run other areas in hell..), having MF working on just white mobs means you can MF anywhere in the game and just kill stuff, without being sucked into just boss running.. so it may be a net positive in a way, but it depends how you look ok at it.

Youre damn right thats an 08 valor lol. The armor of blessedness and of GLORY. I am going to power level a Barb this weekend so he can equip this bad boy. That’s a good idea though, i will make a 1.09f thread as not to confuse the uninitiated. Get hype bro and lets make some 08 heroes. Unless you want to travel
solo in those forgotten lands in which case i bid you godspeed. I know what you mean about farming those large areas though and that’s more fun for me too. I can only run Pindle so much before I start going a little crazy. And dont forget blood runs in a5. Thankfully I have my trusty WF zon when i need a break from human botting and she absolutely wrecks cows and chaos now, and on freakn players 8 no less. Not too long ago she was struggling on Players 1 for crying out loud. Items in this game make such a difference, which makes finding the GGs extremely rewarding.
