Curious if you ever tried running PD2 in Cactus? Will it work?

A new season starts on 9/22 and I'm kind of curious to try it out. But I don't want to mess up my install.

I haven’t tried it but I know most of these big mods have their own launchers that complicate things. It’s not as simple as just containing a set of files in a Platform and letting Cactus handle the file switching / registry updates. I also believe some of them don’t even touch the registry or any of the files in the Diablo II folder, they just read the MPQs and do everything else themselves.

Gotcha! Thanks for the input. That makes sense, and you're right, this one does use a launcher.
