Hello all,

I've decided to restart development of my Diablo II mod, Succulent. I pretty much restarted it from scratch, taking some parts from my old Succulent version that was last available about 2 years ago, re-looked at everything with a new perspective, and continued to take my latest experiences time traveling over these past few years, and how I've felt about the game, and the ecosystem into account. Succulent isn't publicly available yet, but I'm running a small private beta at the moment. For now, you can take a look at all of the changes and some screenshots here:

This mod is primarily something I'm making for myself, but will be sharing it with others. I hope everyone will have fun messing around with it when the time comes.

Looking forward to it :) I like the d1-ish changes like no more level requirements. Also enabling all affixes for crafts/rares and making weapon crafts work on all weapon types. It really opens up a huge realm of possibilities for a more interesting randomized end-game rather than using rune words.

Reminds me of the 1.09 mod I made years ago :P

Is the WW mechanic reverted back to the original 1.00 classic speed or 1.03+ ?

@Manny It's reverted back to regular 1.09b Classic Speed, which is basically 1.03+.
The Expansion Whirlwind skill now works the same as in Classic. (Ignores Weapon Speed)
The Expansion Static Field skill now works the same as in Classic. (Can reduce to 1 HP)

Ah well, that should be good enough. I think I will try a WW Polearm Barb in Succulent :D
