[Succulent] Wednesday (Amazon) [Level 20 | A3 Norm]

So given the new release of Succulent 2023-05-19-1200, and the changes it has regarding throwing weapons, I want to play test a javazon and see how she is affected in the early game. I'm still continuing to try and make gold mean a bit more than what it normally meant in vanilla 1.09b, so there will definitely be more tuning changes regarding the use of gold in Succulent.

It's been a while since I've actually made a Javazon, and I've been taking a break from all the recent Paladins I've been making (with pretty much the same build lmfao, but in different versions). This would be a good opportunity to do that. I also am missing Classic and want to test Succulent Classic specifically, but before I do that I want to continue testing Succulent Lod.

Wednesday is the new Amazon and she is named after Wednesday Addams. This will be considered my "Nevermore" stash so most likely other characters in Nevermore may share items. We'll see how I feel. I've isolated Wednesday from my previous Asuru character which is part of the "Alefgard" (Dragon Warrior) universe of characters.

This time, I made sure I didn't misspell the character name haha .

Wednesday finished everything up to the Cain quests and is level 8. I already got some very interesting results. First of all, I can definitely notice the increase drop rates a lot more after the rarity flattening change. I've found at least 4 set items. More shocking, and I wasn't expecting this to be possible, but I actually found Sander's Taboo from Griswold (IIRC from the screenshot). Normally that has a Level Req of 28, but I'm guessing that the rarity flattening change is interacting with the drop system in an interesting way (unless it's normally possible for Griswold to drop Sander's Taboo in Normal difficulty). I'm definitely interesting to see what other items (and in what location) they decide to appear in.

Given the following information, would lead me to indicate that flattening the rarity level is somewhat helping the game "bypass" some of its own systems lol:

I'll be continuing to play test this, but I've been thinking about the implications of this and I actually like it. I may keep this interaction with the game since I still do believe of having a more flat type of drop system (similar to Diablo 1 in a lot of ways). This mod is tailored to Single Player, and definitely leans a lot more towards untwinked play (no shared stash as original Diablo II is), theoretically speaking people are not suppose to be able to transfer so each characters is independent and isolated by default. It is the player's decision if they want to twink. This was taken into account even when I first removed the level requirements off all items, if anything, twinking would be fun in that case lol. Get the minimum attribute requirements for a grandfather? Well you best believe you gonna be able to wear it probably before level 25-30 haha. Let's see what happens.

Just finished A1. So far I only found 1 set item (Angelic Armor) from a SU in Catacombs. So I'm happy that the changes don't seem to necessarily have caused sets/uniques to just rain. Will need more time to test but so for it's looking good.

Some screenshots and updates. Wednesday has completed A3. A2 was interesting and the play testing continues to be positive. Item drops are not raining good stuff but I did find some cool stuff, some that I wasn't expecting, like a +12 all res grand charm!
