I would like to introduce the latest members to my offline single player PC game collection. Counter Strike 1.5, Condition Zero, and Half Life 1. I actually had all of these discs back in the day and you can actually see from here, that the first cd keys that I redeemed into my _now dormant_ steam account were these games:
The CS disc came with CS 1.0, and I downloaded the CS 1.5 Patch and PODBot 2.5 in order to be able to play CS 1.5 specifically with bots. Condition Zero has bots natively but it's definitely different in terms of look and feel. CZ is still fun, but I prefer CS 1.5 for sure. And lastly, of course we are gonna have HL 1 as well <3.

Nice man. It's too bad Half Life 2 & Portal is forever locked behind the trashy Steam DRM. Well, I remember finding a patcher/tweak that lets you install HF2 from the "Game of the Year" DVD's, but I never got around to buying them or trying it out. This post kinda makes me want to look into that again.
