Your Cactus looks good. For that entry with the \"PlugY\" flag, given that will be ignored (and assuming it’s not causing any issues upon launch\", you just hijacking that and using it as an extra label field?

Exactly -- I’m just using the fake PlugY flag as a label to show me which one launches the Plugy.exe (instead of Game.exe). And they both run from the same save folder.

And yeah, that’s all I’ve been doing lately, but I think I’m done now. Very happy with the Storm Thirst Thresher with 4 open sockets. :cool:

From the readme:
\"All charged affixes have been removed from the game, thus no items will spawn with charges.\"
I guess it doesn’t apply to uniques?
 
That makes sense, yeah unique charges haven’t been removed, only the ones that can randomly generate on items (magic/rare). Since uniques have pre defined stats, they are appearing. I’ll need to think if I want to keep those or not, especially since some uniques (maybe Stormrider) make heavy use of charges skills as part of their identity.

Yeah, it’s fun in 1.09 due to lack of synergies.
I’m trying out this build: Poison Dagger (with Blackbog Sharp hopefully), Corpse Explosion, Bone Spear, Iron Golem, Revives.

A daggermancer!? Cool. I haven’t seen one in ages. And I’ve gotten so many Blackbog’s in 1.09 that I don’t even pick them up anymore, lol.

And yeah, the lack of synergies is one of the main reasons I prefer pre 1.10 gameplay. :geek:
 
Just gambled this ring in Succulent. Can’t think of a use case, but I’m keeping it. :geek:
 
Haha nice. Have you generated many rare items that have affixes that normally don’t spawn in vanilla 1.09b?
 
Nope. Haven’t landed anything special since my Thresher which I think I already showed off

(but here it is again cuz I love it) :lol:
 
Oh, and dual leech rings should be possible again in Succulent, right?

But yea, I still feel prelod has basically the best rare item generations. 1.10 improved things with rare items. 1.08-1.09 rares are known to be lacking lol. That puts 1.07 at an interesting position where even though rare items may not be the best (?), crafted items are basically the best of any version given rare affixes can spawn on there. I think you may have asked me about this before but I didn’t get a chance to respond in that other thread. If you look at the 1.08 patch notes, you’ll notice the following line:

- Crafted items cannot generate with affixes meant for magic items only.

So that means in 1.07 crafted items can have affixes. And I’ve read online about larzuk adding maximum sockets to an item, and imbuing of crafted items are possible. So I’m thinking that some insane 6 socket bow, crafted, and imbued is possible, and then you can add some insanity to the sockets for extra goodness (maybe a bunch of bers if you can even find one haha). Mix that with the fact that CB is not nerfed at all for ranged weapons, and you have some godly stuff right there. Again from the 1.08 patch notes:

- Crushing blow is 50% less effective with bows.
- Crushing blow is affected by physical resistance.

Yea ... 1.07/1.08 is a very interesting time period that I haven’t explored that much, just a little with those chars I played before.

I haven’t been playing my Javazon much these days and I forgot about it. I imbued this Monarch a while back and it showed up with 4 sockets , -30% req, and +41 life. I jumped out of my chair, lol. I don’t think all of those mods would be possible on a rare shield without Succulent.

Also after some thought I decided to go back to a max block stat distro. And she can lightning absorb! I gave her my Bowazon’s old Diadem (after I found M’avinas), and socketed it with a 30% LR jewel. Gotta love Tgods :geek:
