P7 drops on P1 bug

Lol, so what you all think about the players 7 drops on P1 bug that some people found? You can take a look at Mr. Llama’s video about it here. Will you be using it? I think a bunch of people will consider this cheese since it’s usually cheese to play on p1, go to a chest, switch to p8, and then open it. Seems similar in this case as well. But regardless of the potential cheese, I want to know what you all think.

I tried this last night in 1.09b for funsies, and it didn’t seem to work for me.

The steps I took were:

Spawn Moo Moo Farm on Players 1
Enter Cow Level and teleport around to all the packs
Make TP / Go To Town / Type \"players7\"
Wait 5 seconds
Re Enter Cow Level

Killing the cows didn’t appear to yield additional gold, runes, or drops. Am I missing something? I know a lot of the current research and the community itself has moved onto D2R and other post 1.10 gameplay. I wonder if that has something to do with it. For instance, the Andariel quest bug does not exist in 1.09b.

Either way, yeah, this is cheese(IMO)! Personally, I only use the Players command for the experience gain when i’m leveling. I do all my item farming on p1, or sometimes p3 when I’m doing Baal runs on my Barb, cuz he’s a beast.

I haven’t tested so not sure but as for the Andariel Quest Bug, this is a 1.10+ bug since there were no Boss Quest TCs in 1.09 and below.
