New Short Setup Video / Instructions (29 Minutes)

Hey all,

I’ve created a new short video (29 minutes) for setting up Cactus 2.4.1+ and all of that good stuff. Within the first 10-15 minutes you will already have Cactus running. The remaining video time discusses some common troubleshooting scenarios and also various Cactus workflow techniques and strategies, which are necessary to use Cactus efficiently. You can of course decide to stop the video earlier if you got what you needed. Visit the following link for Text Based Instructions.

I’ve decided to completely remove the Long Version. I didn’t feel it was adding anything new other than confusion given that it was based on 2.2.0 and a lot of major developments happened within 5 days of uploading that video. The short version is .. well .. much shorter (14 minutes shorter to be exact) and it’s based on 2.4.1 directly so it has the absolute latest state at the time of recording. This will provide the best, easiest experience for the user without having them have to decide between Short and Long.
