[1.09b] Drops Thread

I started a new Assassin on 1.09b, completely untwinked. The following is a drop I found in A3 Normal from a corpse in Kurast Bazaar I believe (It may have been LK or UK though ..). The second drop is from Normal Baal (Nothing crazy).

I recently did a self ladder reset (FearedBliss’ Ladder 2) and made a new Druid on 1.09b Lod. This was his first drop in A2 Tombs (Norm).


 
Lots of progress has happened with my Druid. He’s currently level 33 in Act 1 NM (Heading towards Smith). A few critical items dropped. Particularly the Hell Cast really helped me to finish Normal difficulty, especially with The Ancients. So much so that Hellcast became a central part of my build (for now). Hellcast is on my main weapon config and on swap I have Humongous. Config 1 is ranged and also uses Hurricane as well, with Ravens, Grizzly + Oak. Config 2 is melee and uses Hunger/Werewolf w/ Ravens/Grizzly/Oak. Once I can get an Eth rune, I’ll socket the Humongous and put an Eth in it. The Hellcast might get a Shael. Not sure yet.

Ran some Hell Mephisto tonight, and this dropped from a Blood Lord in Durance Level 3...

Unfortunately, it rolled with a pretty low ED %, so it’s not an upgrade to my Buriza, but it’s still a decent bow. :)

Anyone need?

Damn that’s a good amulet. It would be hard to replace that for a while at least haha.

No doubt. I’m ID’ing all magic amulet’s and rings mainly because I’m looking for more magic find, but this ammy was a nice surprise. :D
 
Got a Pul rune today in Hell Catacombs.

This is the highest rune I’ve found in the game to date. #21 on the list :)

Wow. So isn’t an item that I’ve been wanting or even knew about, but this just dropped on my way down to Hell Andy..

Thinking it might be a good on a Bear Druid? Almost a perfect ED roll @ 249 !

Haha yea Steeldriver is pretty good ;). Make sure to put an Eth in it so you can take advantage of the Eth bug. Pretty much Eth is like the best rune for melee characters and melee weapons. It will make it so that their defense is set to -25% rather than reducing it by -25%, which means your character will have 75% chance to hit even if you didn’t put any dex points lol (IIRC). I actually put Eth in bows as well as long as they don’t have any type of special arrows like Exploding Arrow.. from my testing, Raven Claw and Hellcast having those properties always caused my hits to hit anyways so using an Eth in that is useless. However when I was playing 1.08, I put an Eth in a crafted bow I made.

Np! The bug was introduced in 1.07 and lasted through 1.09. 1.10 fixed it.
 
Haven’t had as much time to play lately, but I’ve been squeezing in Hell Andy runs whenever I can. Hoping for a Shako one of these days. My Bowazon is rocking all +MF gear except for the helm. Mephisto would be better for Shako, but getting down there takes me longer and the council members often tie me up with the pesky physical immunities.

This dropped last night from a mob on the way. Weak +res roll but still nice to have.
