A flame has sparked yet again in Classic. Sariputta arises to continue his strive towards perfection of wisdom. The path forward is difficult, yet is one that must be done. Sariputta has completed A1 Norm and is starting Act 2. Sariputta's adventure can be seen here.

So far so good, just slowly making my way across stuff. After I got to A2, I used my imbue quest on a broad sword and got a pretty nice roll. 1.05b rares and items just feel so good, I really like that everything feels meaningful and I'm actually happy and enjoying the item scarcity, I believe it's one of the positive things about prelod, although you'll have to adjust your mindset if you are coming from newer ARPGs, people are way too desensitized to items and usually games just throw a lot of stuff at you. I hear people complaining that items are scarce in PoE2, and that may be true, but I do hope that they keep that scarcity to a good extent. From people's comments, it just makes me think of prelod. So I do think a lot of people won't like prelod because of that mindset lol. There's a game and style for everyone :P. Anyways, usually on my low level chars I would use imbue on something and won't wait till later on in the game (at least for the initial first untwinked character) especially because prelod is on the difficult side, and the item scarcity is one of those reasons. Thus I can just "sacrifice" my imbue quest on a rare item early on that can hopefully massively help me, and then of course as I get stronger I'll have an easier time hunting for more items, which could of course be transferred over to another character (if you are ok with twinking or are allowing yourself to do that). Anyways I'm excited to have a new 1.05b stash again (alongside my Succulent playthrough).

So Sariputta has finished A2 and A3 and I would say A3 was very good to me. I found a few nice rares (especially a weapon upgrade that finally upgraded my imbued broad sword, and literally gave me a whopping 60+~ max dmg range upgrade. I also found Iratha's crown which provided dual fire/light 30% res. A massive upgrade from my helm at the time that just had around 23% fire res and +6 life. I really do love 1.05b and prelod Diablo II, my love for the feeling I got in D1 definitely influenced my Diablo II perspective and experience and because of that I feel it got harder for me to enjoy lod the same way I enjoyed it before I played d1 and all of that. But I still love lod, it's just not the same after D1 and prelod D2.

On another note, I have to admit that Find Potion is probably one of the best support skills in the game (and I have a level 7 Find Item which I want to get to either max level or at least 50% drop rate). When Find Potion drops a potion, it always drops the highest tiered potion available in the Act, so A2 pots will always be Healing Potion / Mana Potion / Small Rejuv, but when you get to A3 you always drop Highest Healing/Mana and Full Rejuvs. It's great. I could imagine Barb being one of the best support chars for sorcs and other characters since the Barb can find all the mana and full rejuvs and give them to the supporting party members.

I'm also finally experimenting with MF in 1.05b after many years of playing this patch on and off and ignoring that attribute, primarily because MF only works on white mobs. However, in prelod you don't farm bosses because bosses don't have dedicated TCs, so their drops suck, which in a way is a very good thing because it actually forces the player to explore other areas and not target farm as easily. This also mixes with that MF only affects white monsters, I don't believe it affects super uniques and champions, so it makes sense you would want to explore and kill monsters in other zones of the game and not concentrate on bosses. Crushing Blow is like this as well. CB doesnt work on bosses/SUs/champions, only on white mobs. Atm I have about 62% MF~.
